I like the new site. The stories are well executed, and the design is aesthetically pleasing as well.

I think you are an excellent feminist. I honestly have never seen an "all male" issue of anything, but I can't tell you the number of journals and anthologies I've read that "trend male" in an astonishing way -- maybe 1 or 2 women authors or poets thrown into what might otherwise be referred to as a "sausagefest." We're not far enough into the women's movement to star worrying about OVERcompensation yet. I mean, for how many 1000s of years have men dominated literature? I figure we've got about that long to go. :-)

Now that I belatedly know that Fringe was there, I am even more annoyed that I missed registering before the conference was sold out.

True 'dat! I find myself in a somewhat non-traditional relationship myself, where I am the breadwinner and my husband will likely be a stay-at-home dad after our baby is born in April. I'm so happy that we live in a time where this is possible. It makes life so limitless. But don't make any mistake about it...I've been spending my Sunday nights the same way you have :)

I found it weird at first, but I'm okay with it - I mean, when Bush Jr. became president, we started differentiating the Bushes in several ways (e.g. Bush senior, George W) because we needed to, so why not with the Clintons? We can't tack a junior on there or anything - I'd rather they use her real first name than refer to her just as Mrs., or worse.

Hillary is calling herself "Hillary" in all her campaign signs, so maybe she's responsible.
